About Mary Eisenhauer

Mary has had a lifelong fascination with human behavior. She has always loved reading memoirs and enjoys understanding people’s personal experiences. These interests led her to a long career in Human Resources, and most recently, to write a collection of stories about women who reinvented themselves in midlife. In midlife herself, Mary is thrilled to be a first-time author and is considering her second book. She is a lifelong New Englander, dog lover, avid reader, yoga enthusiast, caffeine addict, passionate volunteer, and fierce supporter of women and girls.
Excerpts From My Book

The year that I spent interviewing women for this book will sit in my memory as one of the best of my life. What started as a project based on American women ultimately extended across the world. Meeting women from all backgrounds, from all over the world, and learning about their challenges and transformations has been truly life-affirming. Whether through necessity or desire, these women have boldly reinvented themselves during a time in life when society tells them their value has diminished.
